From Farm to Community: A Fundraiser That Made an Impact

Following the success of their Boerewors Roll Fundraiser, AgriFarm is proud to announce that the initiative raised critical funds for Philakithi Kitchen, a grassroots organization combating hunger in Chatsworth. Thanks to the overwhelming support from local farmers, agribusinesses, and community members, over 60 nutritious meals have been served to those in need—with more to come."This isn’t just about feeding people; it’s about strengthening our food systems and ensuring no one is left behind," said a AgriFarm spokesperson. "Farmers and agri-entrepreneurs play a vital role in this mission—because when agriculture thrives, communities thrive."

Why This Matters for Farmers & Agri-Businesses

  • Sustainable Community Partnerships – AgriFarm bridges the gap between small-scale farmers, agricultural agencies, and corporate sponsors to create real impact.
  • Economic & Social ROI – Supporting initiatives like Philakithi Kitchen doesn’t just feed people—it strengthens local markets, fosters goodwill, and builds resilient food networks.
  • Youth & Skills Development – AgriFarm’s initiatives align with national food security goals, offering training and opportunities for emerging farmers.

Join the Movement: How You Can Get Involved

AgriFarm invites farmers, agribusinesses, and corporate sponsors to collaborate on future projects, including:

Sponsorship & Donations – Help scale food security programs.

Farm-to-Community Supply Chains – Partner with local growers to supply fresh produce.

Skills Development Workshops – Empower the next generation of farmers."Together, we’re not just planting seeds—we’re cultivating change," the AgriFarm team emphasized.

The Chatsworth store team is overflowing with gratitude for the incredible support received from the community. The generosity and enthusiasm shown by supporters played a vital role in making the fundraiser a resounding success. Thanks to the overwhelming participation, the project was able to raise much-needed funds, which have since been donated to Philakithi Kitchen a remarkable community initiative dedicated to providing warm meals and a sense of hope to individuals and families in need. We’ve fed at least 60 people in our community so far and every plate served is more than just a meal. It’s hope, dignity, and a reminder that someone cares. A small act, but it makes a big difference. Thank you to everyone who supported this mission  together, we’re changing lives, one meal at a time.
